Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,
Merry Christmas! As we are entering December, I am reminding the people why we celebrate Christmas. The center is of everything is Jesus. The people celebrate Christmas on the 24th in Honduras. During this time we see a higher rate of drunks walking the streets. Praise the Lord for Iglesia Bautista Mahanaim, a lighthouse to this dark city. It is amazing to see how much progress the people have made in their spiritual lives.
I am very excited for a young 18 year -old boy named Mario. He was saved in September and last month was baptized. He is currently being discipled and is making great decisions for the Lord. He loves going soul-winning with me every Saturday. He expressed an interest to serve in the church. Mario only has a fourth grade education so studying the Bible is proving to be a little difficult for him, but with the Lord’s help, he can be used greatly. I started discipleship with him on Tuesdays. As I arrived, his whole family was there and we did discipleship in front of the family. Throughout the lesson the family was gathered around us as we studied the Bible. Please pray that we would be able to reach Mario’s family as well.
There is an older lady named Lidia that visited as a result of our soul-winning program. She came up to me at the end of the service and asked me about a Bible. I told her that I would love to talk to her about receiving a Bible. When I visited her, I talked to her about the Lord. At the end of our conversation, she got saved. She wants to bring her adult daughters and their kids to church.
We are praising the Lord for these blessings as well as your part in them. We are averaging around 70 people in our house and still growing. Please pray that the Lord would provide for land and a building. Also pray for a new car as well as buses to pick people up. We would also like to announce that we will be adding to the Jacobo Family. Our third child is due in April. Please pray for my wife and the health of the baby she is carrying.

Hello from Hartwell, Georgia, USA! We are enjoying seeing what the Lord has been doing in your lives and the people God has called you to. We visited El Pregresso, Honduras in December. No, we were not on a mission trip but we were visiting friends. Congratulations on the upcoming child. We will pray with you for the health of the baby and an easy delivery. We are excited to hear the growth of the church and people getting saved.
