Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

What a Sunday!  We celebrated our 6th annual Friend Day on February 12, 2017.  We had 112 that came in attendance.  We are currently using our house as the church.  We packed more than 60 kids into our living room.  We had 4 in the nursery and over 20 first time visitors in the adult church.  God was certainly good to us.  We must divide the children’s services now and we just don’t have enough space.  We also started another bus route for that Sunday.  This was the second time that we have past 100 in our Sunday morning service.  Please pray that we can get our building up soon to accommodate everyone.  Next year we are probably looking at the very real possibility that we can start having 200 in our services.

On March 6th, I will be starting a preacher’s boys club.  I have 3 that I will be starting with.   I will be having these young men preaching on Wednesday night services and helping me more in the ministry.  We need $1,500 to buy them dress shirts, ties, dress pants, dress shoes, Strong’s Concordance, and new Bibles.  Their names are Cristian, Oscar, and Olvin.  This would be a huge investment in the ministry and in their lives.  This will also be a starting point for the Bible institute that we want to start.  We need the building to have space to start these things.  Please pray that we can get the building to do this.

As you may remember, we have an intern from Georgia that is helping us with the ministry in Honduras.  He plays the trumpet as well as the piano.  He is teaching one of our young men the trumpet as well as another young man.  He is teaching my daughter,Isabel as well as another young lady the piano.  He is also starting a youth choir that sings on Sunday evenings.  He will be leaving in September, so I want to get as much out of him as I can.  He has been a huge blessing.

Pray for our building.  We need $5,000 to put up our roof.  This will take about one monthto complete.  This building is very much needed.  I see everything that is happening in the ministry and it is time for our new building.  I have a lot of visitors to follow-up on after our big day.  I want the church to grow because of that service, but we need more space.  It is crunch time now.  This will be a huge impact in  this town.  We will also use this building to have a Bible institute, discipleship classes, Sunday School, preaching opportunities, weddings, and much more.  Please keep this in a matter of serious prayer.

We would like to invite you to come and visit with us on a missions trip.  If you are thinking about where to go, please consider us.  There are very few Americans and a lot to see here.  This is a very open area and I know that you would enjoy yourself.  Thank you for your prayers and support.

Your missionary in Honduras,
Daniel Jacobo
